Erie Canal Harbor, (formerly known as Auditorium until 2003[1]), is a Buffalo Metro Rail station located on Main Street, just north of Hanover and Scott Streets, next to the former Buffalo Memorial Auditorium. Unless there are events occurring at First Niagara Center, this is the southern terminus of Metro Rail. Since the station serves as a terminal, immediately north of the station is a double crossover.
The station is located within the Metro Rail "fare-free" zone, which allows passengers free travel between the Erie Canal Harbor station and Theater station. Passengers continuing past Theater station (northbound) are required to provide proof-of-payment.
